MORE AT FOUR

More at Four is a state-funded, community-based pre-kindergarten program designed to provide four-year old children, who may not otherwise be served, with a valuable educational experience.  This full-day program provides young children with access to a specific curriculum and pre-school experience to enhance their school readiness.  

ELIGIBILITY: Eligibility for More at Four is largely income based (100% of the federal poverty level).  To qualify for More at Four, children must reach three (3) years of age before October 16, 2007, or five (5) years of age after October 16, 2007. 

EXTENDED DAY
This program is for current Head Start Children enrolled in the program.  Hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Location: Lucy Gist Child Development, 2711 Norfolk Avenue.  Parents must provide transportation to and from daily and the FEE is based on monthly income.  We also accept Child Care Resources vouchers.
