Dancing to inspire,
nurture and strengthen Charlotte’s youth.
What is the Carolina Challenge?
The Carolina Challenge is a 12-hour dance event that gives all Charlotte
area residents the opportunity to inspire, nurture and strengthen tomorrow’s
youth.
The goal of the Carolina Challenge
is for members of the Charlotte community to raise funds and awareness in
support of the children of the Bethlehem Center. Following this fundraising
drive, the 12-hour dance event is an opportunity to challenge yourself by
dancing for the duration of the event. This event also offers the
opportunity to interact directly with the children your fundraising will
benefit.
Challenge #1: For every one person who joins the Carolina Challenge Facebook Group, there will be a $3 donation made to Bethlehem Center via the Carolina Challenge.
Challenge #2: The team with the most members registered by June 30th will receive the donation from Challenge #1
September 6-Carolina Challenge 2008!

12:00-1:00 OPENING CEREMONY, TOP 40 HITS, AND OUR ROUTINE!
• Introducing you to what the Bethlehem Center is all about and beginning to
learn our own professionally choreographed dance
1:00-2:00 ORGANIZED DANCE HOUR/LUNCH
• Cha-cha slide, Electric slide, Cupid shuffle, the Macarena…You name it!
2:00-3:00 NC DANCE THEATRE PERFORMANCE/ HIP-HOP KIDS HOUR
• NC Dance Theatre will be doing a jazz dance workshop
3:00-4:00 GUITAR HERO COMPETITION
• Gift Card to the Winner
4:00-5:00 DANCE, DANCE REVOLUTION COMPETITION
• Gift Card to the Winner
5:00-6:00 KARAOKE COMPETITION
